Hypnosis, the pathway to your subconscious mind, allows you to tap into your mind’s power. You can use your mind to change your habits and patterns by reprogramming and repatterning.

Your subconscious is your mind’s computer — the data centre for all information and memory. It controls all your automatic physical functions as well as your habits, patterns, fears and phobias. During hypnosis, you relax your conscious mind and body and we can establish direct contact with your subconscious mind and reprogram it.

When you change the messages in your subconscious, you think and behave differently. You are no longer at the mercy of those old worn-out messages playing in your head.

There are different ways to use hypnosis:

  • Reprogramming
  • Guided imagery
  • Therapeutic inner child work
  • Recovering current or past life memories through regression

A bit about past life regression therapy

You are a spiritual being on a physical path of evolution. You, as a consciousness, experience many lifetimes — past, future, parallel, as well as between-life states. Each lifetime has a blueprint with specific focuses mapped out by your Soul. Each lifetime brings you opportunities to grow and evolve.

As you tap into past lives you expand your sense of self and begin to understand the bigger picture of your spiritual journey. In past life regression therapy, you heal fears, phobias and issues that you carried into this life; you gain greater insight about your relationships; and you see your current life from a whole new perspective.

Past life therapy can be a very valuable tool in a way no other therapy can be.

Myths and Truths
about Hypnosis

Myth: In hypnosis you are asleep, unconscious or “knocked out.”

Truth:

Hypnosis is a state of heightened awareness rather than diminished awareness. You are mentally awake and have increased attention and concentration. It is also called an altered state of consciousness.

Myth: In hypnosis, you have no control and can be made to do or say something against your will.

Truth:

You are in control at every stage of hypnosis, capable of making decisions at all times. You are not dominated by the hypnotist’s will. You will never do or say anything contrary to your own will. Hypnosis is a state of co-operation between client and therapist and is very pleasant and relaxing.

Myth: When being hypnotized, you go “under hypnosis.”

Truth:

There is no such thing as “going under.” During hypnosis you enter an altered state. You move from the left-brain conscious mind (beta) to the right-brain subconscious mind (alpha), which is the first stage of hypnosis. The second stage is theta, and the third stage is delta—named for the brain wave patterns produced by the right brain. However, most hypnosis takes place in the first stage.
